Professional Well-Being for your Body & Mind

“Flow is being completely involved in an activity for its own sake. The ego falls away. Time flies. Every action, movement, and thought follows inevitably from the previous one”
— Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

So... Why is it important to train the body and the mind?

Whether it is physical activity or setting personal or professional goals, by focusing our minds on what we want to achieve and creating a clear direction for how to reach our goals, we can reap the rewards from the challenges we set ourselves.

So how does training the body and mind support one another?

1.     Establishing structure: Engaging in physical and mental agility that is based on exploring your strengths, areas for development and the goals you want to achieve will create the foundation to develop your Yoga practice or Life Goals

2. Physiological & Psychological benefits: Physical activity increases the flow of oxygen and endorphins, the “feel-good” chemicals, to your brain. For this reason, it’s not surprising that people who are in good physical health also tend to enjoy a higher level of mental agility.

3. Creating FLOW: Flow is the psychological state of mind in which a person, performing an activity, is fully immersed in a feeling of energised focus and enjoyment in the activity. In essence, Flow is characterised by complete absorption in what one does.

At Flow in Yoga, we will work with you to achieve your goals, strengthen your mind and body and create the ultimate sense of FLOW in your life.
