Training the Mind

The Flow state is as equally significant for the mind as it is for the body. As with physical activity, when one is in a state of Flow a person typically experiences one, if not more, of the following factors:

  1. You experience clarity of goals and reward in mind and immediate feedback
  2. You experience the activity as Effortlessness and ease
  3. There is a balance between challenge and skills
  4. Actions and awareness are merged, losing self-conscious rumination
